    General Liability for Photographers – $2,000,000 – Higher Limits Available

    This coverage is for third party property damage and bodily injury lawsuits that go to court.  People who are not part of the photo shoot would be considered a third party. This does not include Third Party Property that is in your care, custody and control (a common exclusion), nor will there be insurance for injury to any employees/assistants. Additional coverage may be purchased to fill these gaps in coverage.

     

    Equipment Insurance for Photography – $$ – Owned & Rented

    Insurance for cameras, lighting, lenses, and grip, etc. all include worldwide coverage, theft and accidental breakage at replacement cost. Be sure to utilize our short term rental options if you only rent a few times a year. Additional gear and removal of gear is possible throughout the policy term.

     

    Short Term Photo Rental Equipment – $$ – 30 Day Periods

    Some photographers only need rented equipment for specific jobs throughout the year. Our program allows for our insureds to add rented equipment as they need it. We work with photographers to make sure they are getting the lowest premium possible.

     

    Computer Equipment Coverage for Photographers – $25,000 On-Premises / $10,000 Off-Premises

    Not only will we provide worldwide coverage for your desktop and laptop computers, but we will also cover your smartphone, tablet, hard drives, monitors and printers. Coverage also includes recovery of electronic data if you happen to drop and damage a hard drive. This coverage does not include recovery of data due to a virus/trojan.

     

    Portfolio Coverage for Photo Prints – $5,000 ($2,500 for casing/$100 each image)

    A lot of photographers like to carry a portfolio of their prized work to show clientele. We will cover what holds the prints up to $2,500, and $100 for each image. The $100 is more specifically to recreate the image, such as paying someone to edit, photoshop, touch up, etc.

     

    Office Contents & Furniture for Photo Location – $3,000 – Higher Limits Available

    This photo coverage is intended for damage or theft to desks, chairs, tables, cabinets, LAN phones, office supplies etc. at your premises location. A relatively low risk coverage compared to camera equipment, but it is a good coverage to have when running your business out of your studio.

    Errors and Omissions for Photographers – $1,000,000

    Protects a photographer against lawsuits arising out of copyright infringement, trademark, trade name, title, slogan, false advertising, idea misappropriation, invasion of privacy/publicity right, or defamation arising out of any photographic/digital visual imagery services. A more comprehensive E&O policy is also available to photographers but at a much higher cost.

     

    Workers’ Compensation for Photo Employees – $1,000,000

    Any assistant/employees working for your photography shoot will want compensation for any injuries sustained while on the job. It does not matter if you are paying them money or not. Do not rely on any photo assistants being considered an independent contractor. There are guidelines for each state on who is considered an independent contractor.     Cyber Liability for Photo Website – $100,000 – $1,000,000

    A business website is an essential tool for photography.     Hired & Non-Owned Auto Liability for Photography – $1,000,000

    This is for vehicles your assistants/employees drive AND vehicles you rent for photo shoots.
